The Seed: A Living Beer Project was launched in 2020 by Amanda Cardinali and Sean Towers (my sister and brother-in-law). As they were formulating their first brews with their philosophy of local ingredients and wild fermentation, I was coincidentally photographing seeds and plants several states away. We were all excited to put the two together for a label, and the collaboration has continued since.
